UiO and UiB strengthen digital services with ACOS solutions

In June, it became clear that the University of Oslo (UiO) and the University of Bergen (UiB) have chosen ACOS as their new supplier of the case and archive system WebSak and the service platform Interact+. Implementation is already underway, and both staff and students can look forward to new and user-friendly solutions in the time ahead.

– We’re excited to explore the possibilities in WebSak and Interact+. UiO wants to strengthen both case management and archiving, while also building new, user-friendly digital services. We’re confident that collaborating with ACOS provides the best foundation to succeed.

Won with quality

The tender competition consisted of two separate agreements: one for form solutions and one for case and archive systems. ACOS stood out in both competitions, and the universities therefore chose to award the entire contract to the company.

The universities point out that the chosen solutions are user-friendly and at the same time provide good opportunities for automation and efficiency, so that they can quickly realize benefits. They also highlight that ACOS has market-leading functionality for handling large volumes—something that is important for the institutions.

With WebSak and Interact+, ACOS will meet the universities’ overall digitalization needs for case processing, archiving, and self-service.

ACOS’ largest contract in recent times

In recent years, ACOS has positioned itself as one of the country’s leading providers of SaaS solutions for the public sector. WebSak is the company’s solution for complete and automated document management, while Interact+ is a service platform that allows users to set up forms and processes without coding and automatically transfer them to the archive.

For ACOS, the contract with UiO and UiB is both strategically important and financially significant. It is the company’s largest contract in recent years.

CEO Bent-Inge Storheim expresses great gratitude for the trust that has been shown:

We are incredibly proud that ACOS has won this strategically important agreement. It shows that our cloud-based solutions maintain high quality also in the higher education sector. Now we look forward to giving UiO and UiB a boost with WebSak and Interact+, which will simplify everyday life for both employees and students.

Will be up and running by summer 2026

The implementation is already underway at UiB, where the first kickoff meeting with ACOS was held in August. Project manager Ingrid Christensen at UiB is optimistic:

– We have a very good impression of ACOS as a supplier, and we are looking forward to the collaboration. It will be exciting to explore the functionality in WebSak, and we expect that it will provide good support for our caseworkers. The goal is better self-service solutions and more automation for caseworkers, archivists, and managers.

At UiB, the ambition is to be finished with the introduction by March 2026, and both universities plan to be fully up and running with WebSak and Interact+ by summer 2026.

Opens up for all the BOTT universities

UiT The Arctic University of Norway and NTNU in Trondheim have options in the agreement and can thus also join if they wish. Should that happen, ACOS will deliver the digital solutions of the future to all four universities in the BOTT collaboration.
