KMD WorkZone's decision to change out existing technology with Interact was not about fixing something that was broken. It was about being ready for what comes next.
Looking back, Victor Thoft, Business Developer at KMD WorkZone, reflects that the previous solution worked well, but it was built on technology that no longer supported their long-term ambitions:
— The previous solution was really good, but it was built on older technology. The move to Interact was driven by a need for modernization. At the time, Interact stood out as a platform that could support both current requirements and future development. In other words, Interact was clearly the superior solution compared to what we had.

— They love the solution! From our own conference, it’s clear that many customers can’t wait to get their hands on Interact+. Most of them are coming from older solutions. Once you’ve seen those, it’s easy to understand why the switch to Interact+ is so appealing.
Easy to use, powerful when it needs to be
One reason Interact+ works across such a diverse customer base is the balance between ease of use and advanced functionality. Many customers use the platform as a self-service, no-code solution and manage their forms independently. Others rely on consultants when integrations become more complex.
Victor sees this flexibility as a key strength within the solution:
— Many customers use Interact as a self-service, no-code solution and build and deploy forms themselves.
The usability is noticeable even for those who do not work directly with customers, such as Victor himself:
Even though I’m not in a customer-facing role, I’m confident I could sit down tomorrow and start building forms and integrations myself.
Compared to simpler form tools, the difference lies in depth rather than complexity:
— Some tools are easy to use, but they don’t offer the same level of functionality. Interact+ combines usability with much more advanced capabilities.
Integrations that create real business value
For many of KMD WorkZone's customers, integrations are not a nice-to-have. They are essential. Victor points out that requirements often go far beyond basic data capture.
— Many of our customers require complex integrations and web services. That alone adds a lot of value. Interact is also used both externally and internally within organizations. That dual use creates clear efficiency gains.
This flexibility allows organizations to standardize data capture while still supporting very different processes and user needs.
A partnership built on trust
Technology is only part of the picture. For Victor and the team, the partnership with ACOS has been just as important. Internally, the collaboration is often highlighted as an example of how partnerships should work.
— I often use ACOS as an example of what a perfect partnership looks like. It’s a very professional partnership, with a structured way of working and regular quality meetings. There is very little friction, and ACOS are available, flexible and proactive when we need them. That support has been especially valuable for us during the transition to Interact+. In terms of providing resources to get us where we need to go, we really couldn’t ask for more!
